Kristin Tabor, MD, will be joining our practice in October 2022 from Austin, TX where she has been in private practice since 2018. She is originally from the DFW area and is excited to be returning home. Dr. Tabor received her undergraduate degree at Boston University, then graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her medical degree. Dr. Tabor finished her residency training in obstetrics & gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Hospital. She then completed a Fellowship in Robotics & Advanced Pelvic Surgery. Dr. Tabor is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a trained da Vinci robotic surgeon. Her interests include running, swimming, and international travel. She lives with her husband and her Corgi, Joule.

Fui por un manchado que estoy teniendo después de mi periodo menstrual con dolor y Dr Taybor me dice que que mi única opción son pastillas anticonceptivas la cual yo no quiero pero ella no tuvo empatía conmigo y tambien atiende a las prisa con su laptop de verdad no voy a volver. Solo me recomienda pastillas anticonceptivas la cual ya le he dicho que no en mis dos visitas anteriores, le falta empatía y no me da otras alternativas sobre mi alimentación, mi estado emocional solo Pastillas anticonceptivas para un sangrado despues de mi regla. [Translation: I went for a spotting that I am having after my menstrual period with pain and Dr Taybor tells me that my only option is birth control pills which I don't want but she had no empathy with me and she also attends to the rush with her laptop, really no I'm going back. He only recommends birth control pills, which I have already said no to on my two previous visits. He lacks empathy and does not give me other alternatives regarding my diet, my emotional state, only Birth control pills for bleeding after my period.]

Endometrial Biopsy

Dr. Tabor, and Adel are very patient and go over everything with me step by step. The ultra sound tech does also I can't remember her name. They make sure I'm alright during the procedures. The procedures are painful but they still stay concerned. Somehow women need some sort of medication for a biopsy it hurts bad. With my tumors I'm hurting days later. Anyhow, she and her assistant are very amazing and friendly and I'm ready to have my final procedures over with.

I’m so glad I’m a patient of Dr. Tabor. She explains everything she’s doing in a way that’s easy for me to understand. She answers all of my questions at every visit, and she is very sweet and empathetic. I’m a first-time mom and she noticed that I had preeclampsia and delivered my baby early and potentially saved both me and my baby’s life. I’m so thankful that she didn’t send me home after noticing the signs. She is very knowledgeable and does what’s best for the patient.
