Amy M. Chapman, MD, is a highly experienced board-certified OB/GYN at Women’s Health Domain in Austin, Texas. Dr. Chapman earned her Bachelor of Arts in zoology at The University of Texas (UT) at Austin in Austin, Texas. She then graduated, with honors, with her Doctor of Medicine, from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, and was one of the top 10 students in her medical class. During medical school she earned membership into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Hambrock-McGanity Award in OB/GYN. Continuing her training in Texas, Dr. Chapman completed her OB/GYN residency at Baylor Scott and White Health (BSW) in Temple, Texas. Throughout residency Amy excelled at laproscopic procedures and earned entry into the AAGL and the Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Chapman is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She’s also a professional member of the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a Texas state medical license. Personally, Dr. Chapman is a native Austinite. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Billy and their two talented teenage daughters. Amy is passionate about good food, wine, her Peloton, and running the Cap 10K annually.

Love Judye and she is always a complete pleasure. I did not like the intern in there doing the actual exam. I have been going to this place for 28 years and kind of set in my ways when it comes to the knowledge of someone giving me my yearly exam. Dr McGuirk is an amazing gyno, but way too hard to get into. He needs to clone himself. Great place for your gyno needs overall.

My overall experience was positive. I have two suggestions for improvement: The physician's consultations often feel rushed. I'd appreciate more time to address my questions, especially as a primary care patient with accumulated concerns over time. The process for urine sample collection could be more discreet. Providing covers for the cups and a less exposed collection area would enhance patient comfort

We discussed the things I’m doing And plan to do to strengthen my bones so that my next bone density scan in a year will show positive improvement. We will touch base on this after my next scan.
