Childbirth / Labor & Delivery

I am 10 weeks pregnant and so far have nothing but good things to day about the office and Dr Wang. yes the wait time is long, yet they are very upfront about that and provide wait time estimates on their website and ask to check and come later if it shows delay. I personally have no issue waiting for doctor to deliver a baby of a fellow woman, more over I PREFER doctor to make me wait and provide proper care to a woman in labor, as this is exactly what I wish doctor does when I deliver myself. I see some people complain about the wait time, well it looks like the office's focus is on the baby delivery, therefore you may want to look for another OBGYN that doesn't deliver or just be accepting of the situation and use the tools given vs ruing the office's rating. I find the admin stuff and nurses very kind, polite and eager to help too. The office itself has multiple waiting rooms with relaxing atmosphere and plenty of soft and comfortable seating. Doctor Wang carries wonderful and lively energy, lights up the room and certainly has the experience need to feel in trusted hands. So far I am very happy to with Violet Crown while with my first pregnancy. I hope my experience continues down this great path. And if you are reading this and went through some negative reviews, I'd just leave a last though that I had after the same "what do I care more: some wait time, some mistakes or misunderstandings of the office, or health of myself and my baby". I chose the later, and even though no doctor is a robot and can guarantee you 100% greatest care possible, I feel like I have very high chances of everything going great with Dr.Wang's support.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

While my experience during the ultrasound was good as always, I had a concern from my 20-week scan. After that ultrasound, a nurse called to inform me that a measurement was out of range—my baby had a thickened nuchal fold, which is considered a marker for an increased risk of Down Syndrome. Since my NIPT test came back negative, I asked if any further tests were needed to confirm everything was okay. They told me not to worry and that nothing more needed to be done. However, the ultrasound report recommended a follow-up fetal anatomy ultrasound with an echocardiogram (ECHO/IVF) in 3–5 weeks. When I went in yesterday, I expected them to remeasure his neck to check if the issue had resolved or to at least follow up on it. Instead, Nurse 1 told me they would only be examining his heart and that the neck is not reassessed after the 20-week scan. When I asked why the report specifically recommended a follow-up ultrasound, she couldn’t explain. I was so frustrated I almost cried during the exam because it felt like this concern was being ignored. After the ultrasound, we spoke with Nurse 2, explained the situation, and asked about the thickened nuchal fold again. She reassured me that everything should be fine but didn’t check the measurement either. I left feeling incredibly frustrated that no one seemed to be addressing my concern properly. Now, I’ve received the echocardiogram results, which are normal. Should I assume that means everything is okay with the thickened nuchal fold as well? Why can’t anyone check it again if it was flagged in my previous exam results?

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

Front desk staff so patient and nice, minimal wait time and US tech was extremely informative and very personable. She made me feel very comfortable which made me enjoy my US without being nervous.
