Elisa Carroll MD is a San Antonio OBGYN who strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment for women to discuss their healthcare needs. Elisa Carroll MD earned her medical degree from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. She then completed a fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1995.

Then, Dr. Carroll successfully completed the residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999. During her residency, she was named the chief obstetrics and gynecology resident for the 1998-1999 academic year. She credits her education and training with helping her become the highly respected San Antonio OBGYN she is today.

This San Antonio OBGYN believes it is important to stay current on the latest developments in women’s healthcare. As a result, Dr. Carroll is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. Membership in these groups allows Dr. Carroll to continue providing her patients with the most-effective and advanced women’s healthcare.

Whenever a patient visits Elisa Carroll MD, she listens to the woman’s concerns so that they can develop a customized plan of care together.

When she isn’t helping her patients achieve their best health, Dr. Carroll enjoys spending time with her spouse and two stepchildren. She speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian.
