John Adams MD is a respected San Antonio OBGYN with Women’s Health Texas. Each patient who visits his office can count on receiving compassionate and customized women’s healthcare. Dr. Adams’ goal is to create a supportive environment that allows women to feel comfortable sharing their health concerns and goals. He provides obstetrical and gynecological care to help women at every age and stage of life.

John Adams MD graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Texas A&M University. He then earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center in College Station. For his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Adams went to The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Today, he is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Prior to joining the Institute for Women’s Health, Dr. Adams, who is a published author, was the residency program director for obstetrics and gynecology at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. This experience, together with his training, has allowed him to become an exemplary physician.

Everyone in the office is courteous and professional. My only reason for the 4 was their were 2 other urine samples in the door when I went to place mine in there, which felt unsanitary (not sure if it is or not, just felt gross) I would recommend ensuring the door is emptied to the other side before sending another patient through.

I love this office. Dr. Adams is truly excellent, he creates a pleasant and comfortable environment. The nurses and office staff are always friendly and professional. My only complaint is the waiting time. My last visit was scheduled for 11:15, Dr. Adams didn't see me until 12:15. The last several times I've been in its taken an hour or more from the time I arrive to when I see the doctor. It's not the worst problem as I only come in once or twice a year but it turns what should be a half hour visit into a two hour visit.
