Michelle Lynn Self

Michelle Self received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas of El Paso in 2014. After receiving her degree, she proceeded to serve the El Paso, Texas community as a registered nurse and went on to work in multiple Texas and Kansas hospitals. Michelle has worked in many different specialties as a registered nurse, from progressive surgical units to women’s surgical units. Graduating from her alma mater in 2019 with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Michelle went on to work at CVS as the primary Minute Clinic provider. Michelle also served in the Texas National Guard from 2014 to 2019 as a Brigade Nurse ensuring medical readiness of thousands of soldiers and providing compassionate care to all. In 2019, after becoming a certified Nurse Practitioner, Michelle went on to serve in the Texas National Guard as a senior Medical Provider, overseeing a team on the first COVID initiative that the Texas National Guard implemented.

Michelle has always had a passion for women’s health and creating an encouraging and educational environment for women. Michelle is a Texas native and currently resides in Cibolo, TX with her husband of 6 years, Steven and 4-year-old son Aiden as well as their two labs, Lexi and Leah. Michelle enjoys running races, exercising, cooking and baking as well as going camping with her family on her off time. Michelle is excited to have such a wonderful work environment and magnificent role models to learn and develop with.
