WHY I JOINED MWC:
Once I met the other physicians and support staff at Midland Women’s Clinic, I knew I had to be a part of this group. The other physicians are very personable and well trained in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Being a female, I also felt that I could provide a different perspective and other options to the patients at Midland Women’s Clinic. I provide Gynecological and Obstetrical care for normal and high risk pregnancies. I also care for women in all phases of their life concentrating on menopause symptoms, well woman exams, bleeding problems and contraceptive counseling. Since I was raised in Midland, I know the area and the people. I wanted to provide high quality healthcare to my family and friends as well as their family and friends. With a shortage of female Ob/Gyn’s in this area, Midland Women’s Clinic and I were a perfect match. Midland has always been my home and I consider it a privilege to serve the community at Midland Women’s Clinic.

Dr. McBrayer is very kind and caring. I would have liked to have had time to discuss what else I could do, if anything, to alleviate my narrowed vaginal opening and vaginal dryness if my oncologist will not let me use the estrogen patch, but we ran out of time. I have made sure to purchase the Replens with the pre-filled applicator since my vaginal opening is so small I could not insert the larger applicant that has to be filled for each use. I have been using the pre-filled Replens applicators, but made an error in my last purchase and got the wrong kind. I think I was "extra-dry" for my exam and I think that might have been because I had been having trouble getting the moisturizer inside my vaginal opening over the last couple of weeks. Ronica explained why - my small vaginal opening. Can that condition be reversed? I heard on the TV, today, that there is a vaccine for cervical cancer. I did not know that. My first cousin, once removed, died from cervical cancer, so I would have liked to have been informed about that vaccine and if your clinic can give that vaccine or not. Instead, I'll ask my PCP about the vaccine at my checkup with him in February.
