Dr. Irwin is the only board-certified female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon in the San Antonio and Austin, TX Corridor. As an award-winning urogynecologist between San Antonio and Austin, Dr. Irwin has been voted as one of “Texas’ Best Doctors” by Texas Monthly in 2005 – 2007. Appoint time No long wait. Dr Irwin explained about the surgery what she would do. recovery time. Discussed my problem and agreed with me to try pelvic floor exercises for 3 months and revisit my bowel problem, to see if there is any improvement my condition.

Pessary Insertion / Removal

I appreciate Dr. Irwin's expertise and assistance. I do not have the manual dexterity to remove/replace my pessary so a three-month visit takes care of it.
