Patient Reviews

Overall patient rating for UWH of Texas:

OB Care

Answers, while positive for my situation, were very vague and brief. I had to be the one to pose the questions for much of the conversation

Mammogram

Regan is very thorough. Regan is very thorough, puts you at ease and listens. She doesn’t rush.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

Polite front desk and treated well by Dr and staff.

Annual Well Woman Exam

Dr. Evangeline Gonzales is very passionate and professional doctor. She’s helping me navigate through some issues and I am Blessed to have her for my doctor!!! The staff is also very nice and thorough!

Annual Well Woman Exam

Made me feel comfortable to be able to ask a question and really listened and gave great advice!

Gynecological Exams

Dr Holloway is a skilled clinician, an expert in her field.

IUD Insertion / Removal

No wait time at all. Went in to have birth controlled removed, was painless and effortless.

Blood Draw

No trouble finding vein. Very professional and a short wait time. Randall has always been understanding. It is common as an older woman to often be dismissed and treated as a throwaway. Randall has always treated me as if I just might have something to offer and am able to grasp health information. I have always appreciated his readiness to listen and include me in my health decisions.

Gynecological Problem Visit

Has been very helpful

Annual Well Woman Exam

Great patient care

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

Yasmin and the ultrasound technician were both knowledgeable, kind, and explained everything in detail. Yasmin drew pictures and answered any questions that I had. I felt cared for and seen.

Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound / Sonogram

Dr Pico is very empathetic and answers all my questions

Annual Well Woman Exam

Bethany was wonderful, as was the staff. I felt comfortable asking questions

Childbirth / Labor & Delivery

Best OBGYN

Pap Smear

Dr was 30 mins late, so could not be rated a 5. Also, really don't appreciate that insurance pressures won't allow the Dr to generally care for a women holistically anymore at yearly well check up. Makes me feel like just a procedure no longer a person. It's a shame for younger women who likely only see their GYN, no other Drs during the year as they are healthy.

Annual Well Woman Exam

Everything was good Dr Ellis is great

Perimenopause Treatment for Women

I was extremely happy with Yasmin. She was personable, thoughtful, and helpful. The lab tech, on the other hand, was very dismissive which made for an unpleasant experience. To make a long story short, I had warned her about approaching my blood draw (as I have 50 years of experience knowing how my veins behave.) She dismissed what I said and ended up having to attempt the draw multiple times. Had she been more attentive to me from the moment she called me in the lobby, she would've been more successful the first time and made for a much more pleasant experience.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

Staff, nurses and doctor are beyond knowledgeable, professional, friendly and approachable!

IUD Insertion / Removal

It was as great as it could be! Tara did an awesome job with being swift and providing the best treatment!

IUD Insertion / Removal

Dr.Simpon did go over the IUD option with me previously and took the time to explain again, she asked me about any of my concerns or questions and answered .
