“I was raised in Hawaii, moved to Los Angeles for college and stayed for Medical School and Residency (USC for college, med school, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for residency). I completed my residency in June 2000. I moved to McKinney in July 2000, when I joined Dr. Banks in practice and have been here since!

“I am married with two children – James and Jessica. My husband, Jay, works as a graphic designer/producer in McKinney. I enjoy activities with kids – I am active in their school activities and scouting with children, various booster clubs.

“I am active at First United Methodist Church in McKinney, where I serve on various committees, the Leadership Team, and teaching youth Sunday School. “

Community Involvement: Children’s Advocacy Center, McKinney Education Foundation, Food Pantry, Community in Schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Supportive of mission work in Haiti at Grace Children’s Hospital, in Guatemala through Hope of the Pokomchi
