About R. Michael Howell, MD

Dr. Howell, a native Texan, raised in Knox City Texas, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Texas Tech University before attending University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his internship at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and from 1987 to 1990, attended Stanford University in Palo Alto California to complete his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been in practice since 1990. Dr. Howell specializes in low and high risk obstetrics, infertility, all gynecologic services ranging from adolescent care to menopausal women including hormone replacement therapy. His specialty also includes robotic hysterectomy, minimally invasive procedures including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy as well as other gynecologic abdominal and vaginal procedures. Dr. Howell also offers all forms of contraception.

Dr. Howell is married and has 3 children. He enjoys his time with his family, golfing, fishing, boating and cooking.
